Lost The Last Season Has Begun!

So like millions of people who are addicted to crystal meth, niccotine, sex or caffeine I am addicted to something; Lost.

I can’t explain it because Lost is like that one chick you could never get with, she kind of liked you and every time you got close something happened and before you knew it she was married with 3 kids and requesting you on Facebook from New Jersey, where she lives with her husband and children.

How is Lost like her? Lost is a great show, from day 1, season 1, episode 1 I was hooked. The show has great characters, stories and twists. Additionally it has a ton of subtle messages scattered throughout. So just like that chick from your youth who was really attractive, this show is kinda sexy.

Now, here’s the dagger to the gut, there are never, ever, under ANY circumstances any answers in Lost. Just when you think you are about to get an answer, BOOM, new characters, new plots, new alternate time zones and parallel universes. Not 6 seasons in, she’s married and living in Lodi. Seriously?

Anyway, the show started and not only are we dealing with the age-old good vs. evil (represented by black vs. white) but we now have a whole tribe of new people, lumped on top of the new old people who we were introduced to at the end of last season.

There are a ton of questions I still want LOST to answer:
Where are the polar bears?
Where’s Walt? I still think he had alot to do with the island.
Who really shot JFK?
Did the island sink due to the bomb being detonated?
Is Sayid really dead, and is his body being used as a vessel for Jacob?
When did Benjamin become such a wimp?
How many licks does it take to get to the toosie roll center of a tootsie pop?
Who are these “new” characters?
Why am I so hooked on this show?

Confused yet? Imagine if by watching the show you got MORE confused.

But the problem with this show is that it is so great, no matter how frustrating it is, it makes you want to come back next week. I know I will be tuning in, and praying that there is not a “Sopranos Style Ending.” If Jack or Sawyer goes near a basket of onion rings, or I hear a Journey song playing in the background, I will go ape shit on my television.

Anyway here are some cool pictures looking back:

Basically how I felt about the LOST premiere:

So, even though you can’t drive out to Lodi and meet the girl you went to HS with, and subsequently struck out with, you can catch Lost Tuesdays on ABC.
